Dr Mark Jenkins is Professor of Business Strategy at Cranfield School of Management. He has also held positions at Nottingham University Business School, Massey Ferguson Ltd and the Lex Service Group.
Mark’s teaching, research and consulting activities focus on the areas of competitive strategy, and innovation. He is the author of a number of books on strategic management issues, including Performance at the Limit: Business Lessons from Formula 1® Motor Racing and Advanced Strategic Management. He has published numerous journal articles and is on the editorial boards of Long Range Planning, Organization Studies and the Journal of Management Studies.
Mark frequently appears in the media, on radio: Today, BBC Radio 4; BBC Radio Scotland; BBC World Service News, The World Tonight and BBC Radio 5 Live. On TV: Channel 4 News; BBC News 24; BBC Look East; and German TV discussing developments in Formula One and Britain’s motorsport valley. His co-authored book: Performance at the Limit was made into a BBC World series: Formula for Success. He has also been featured in a number of articles concerning the development of Formula 1® in The Financial Times, The Times, The Mail on Sunday, Sunday Business, Sunday Times, Guardian and USA Today.
